My boy needs to be on medicine that has to be sprinkled on his dry food. Not wanting to add calories to his dinner with canned food (which I do not like anyway), I found this product. You don't need a lot just enough to cover the food and mix it, and the powered medicine stays on the dry food perfectly adding little calories.
